In its third year, Palmetto People, Time Warner Cable's public affairs talk show continues to meet the mission. Every week Time Warner Cable customers get a first-hand look at the people, places and things that make South Carolina a great place to live, work and play. Palmetto People connects the communities across South Carolina through a positive, living-room style format.

Palmetto People is recognized as one of the few programs focusing solely on South Carolina. Time Warner Cable introduced a new co-host to the program. Richard Green, Time Warner Cable's News Director from the Grand Strand area joined Mary Anne Jacobs as on-camera talent. Richard Green has been reporting news along the Grand Strand for twenty-four years for Time Warner Cable. Richard is highly respected as a fair and balanced reporter. Mary Anne Jacobs, Senior Director of Public Affairs for Time Warner Cable's South Carolina Division has been on staff with Time Warner Cable for nearly eighteen years. The two co-hosts bring a love of South Carolina and the unique communities to the television program.

Staff members from the Time Warner Cable Creative Services Department in Myrtle Beach run cameras and post-produce the programs. The Palmetto People crew produces programs featuring each area where Time Warner Cable provides services.
